My name is Jaylen Dilkhush, and I am a high school student at Carrollwood Day School. As a child and even today I always have access to bricks that can be used to create and build . I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact they have had on my growth and development, and continue to use them today to learn and as outlet to build. I am eager to provide this opportunity to those who may not have the same privilege.
As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to the belief that playing with bricks possesses the transformative power to shape lives. I have seen the benefits it has had for me and I want to be able share this opportunity to those who may not have access to them.
At Brix4All, our mission is to collect used or new bricks and distribute them to individuals in need. We will make kits that contain creative ways to use the bricks and build or they can use there creativity and just build. Our objective is to inspire and empower children through the transformative power of the brix. Every child has the right to access the opportunity to engage in play and learning through this creative construction experience. Engaging in brick construction offers numerous benefits, including STEM education, the development of fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and stress reduction.
